RISC-V Technical Contribution Overview

RISC-V Technical Contribution Overview

RISC-V contributions are governed by policies and procedures established by the RISC-V Board of Directors with input from the Governance Committee. These policies area subordinate to the RISC-V International Association Amended and Restated Internal Regulations which is itself subordinate to the RISC-V International Association Articles of Association. These policies are detailed below in the RISC-V Policy Documents section.

In addition to the policies, certain practices (“Technical Processes”) are used to organize RISC-V work. These are generally overseen by the Technical Steering Committee. These are all subordinate to the RISC-V Policies & Procedures. They can be found in the RISC-V Technical Process Documents section.

To begin contributing to RISC-V, please review the Member Participation Guide (if you’ve not already done so) and the Technical Contribution Guide.
